St. Aloysius Gonzaga was a young Italian nobleman born in the 16th century who dedicated his life to God. Known for his profound piety and commitment to charity, he renounced his inheritance to join the Society of Jesus. Aloysius devoted himself to caring for the sick, particularly during a plague, and died in service to others at a young age.
