St. Juan Diego
Feast Day: December 9
Born in the 15th century, St. Juan Diego was an indigenous man of humble origins who lived a devout life. In 1531, while on his way to Mass, he had an extraordinary encounter with the Blessed Virgin Mary. This experience led to a miraculous sign that prompted the construction of a shrine, now a significant pilgrimage site. His unwavering faith and receptive heart are central to his legacy.
