Saint Leo the Great, a prominent Pope in the 5th century, served the Church with steadfast devotion during a time of great challenge. He is remembered for his eloquent theological writings, particularly his "Tome," which profoundly articulated the orthodox understanding of Christ's two natures. His courageous diplomatic efforts also helped safeguard the city of Rome and its people.
