St. Simon, Apostle

Saint Simon was among the chosen Twelve Apostles who walked and ministered with Jesus Christ. Simon, often called "the Zealot," likely possessed a fervent spirit before answering Christ's call. Through his steadfast witness and preaching, he shared the Gospel of salvation and is honored as a pillar of the early Church.
